How do you trick vimeo into giving you hd?

I wanna put up 16x9 sd on vimeo, tons of people do it as hd just to keep the quality. I tryed and it didn't work, how is it done?

did vimeo stop allowing you to do this?

so pretty much you put your sd edit in an HD timeline and render it out as hd, then uplaod it to vimeo.
