I've been all over the site reading and reviewing all suggestions and methods. I am still confused.
I have a project that I have been working on for about 2 years. it started with a canon xhA1 and I choose to shoot in 1080 30p. I have been on the road for the last 4 months wth an hvx200 LOVING IT. I shoot on 108024pn. i have been editing with the 2 cameras in the same timeline and really appreciate the contrasting looks of each camera. I have recently been noticing that some of the transfers put a 30p compressor on my 108024p hvx.
my final output is for dvd. is there going to be a huge problem when i export my video and figure out that i cannot link the 2 camera formats in one sequence? i have priceless footage on both cameras and want everything to be seen come premiere night. i love the change with 24p and 30p can both be expressed seamlessly?
