Hi,
My HVX manual mentions 720/24pn and 720/30pn. Barry's book mentions 24pn, 25pn, and 30pn. Premiere CS3 has three settings for 720.....
DVCPROHD 720p 24p - For editing MXF material recorded in 720p/24p or 720p/24pn modes with a 60Hz Panasonic P2 camcorder. Material recorded using Variable Frame Rates will be treated as 23.976fps. Progressive rendering.
DVCPRO 720p 50p - For editing MXF material recorded in 720p/50p mode with a Panasonic P2 camcorder. Progressive rendering.
DVCPRO 720p 60p - For editing MXF material recorded in 720p/60p mode with a Panasonic P2 camcorder. Progressive rendering.
If 24pn is 24fps and 30pn is 30fps, then I want to fim in 720/30pn and use variable frame rates to do speed changes. How do I bring 720/30pn into Premiere CS3? Am I misunderstanding something?
Any help is greatly appreciated - Thanks!............dave
