MXF Files not displayed in order they are shot

Whenever I use premier pro, after effects, or even the P2 contents manager, all of the clips are out of order. Is this just something I need to deal with, or is there some easy solution? thanks

The interal clip names are semi-random, but you should be able to sort by other metadata fields. I would also check if Premiere supports User Clip Names as described in this article:
