For ScriptFest, the rules specify a length of five to ten pages. How many pages do you expect to use?

Def. only going to need 10. It's at 12 right now (Really 11 1/2) but I am going to start another draft this week which should be the last.

I ended up at 11 pages and then after rewrites got it down to a nice clean full ten pages.

But it keeps showing 11 pages, first script that I've written on Movie Magic, anybody know how to get rid of that last page? Theres nothing on it.

122 But I plan on cutting back a tad with another rewrite:happy:

Might aim for 10...

Go to the end of the last word of the script. Hit DEL until the page is gone. At least that should work. Most likely you just have some extra returns or spaces at the very end of your document. As much as I like MM, it can be a little quirky at times. Also you might want to consider checking to see if there's a version update available.

BTW, does the first page with the title and writer count as a pg? hahaha:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

That is actually a good question, I would assume that the ten page limit applies only to actually screenplay, but some clarification would be nice.

As far as my own entry, I haven't been able to start on it yet. I was so busy with TimeFest scripts and other stuff I just haven't had time. But don't you all worry, it will be done before the deadline. I don't know how many pages it will be, it really depends on what story I use. Usually when I write I think about the page limits and the script somehow always comes out to be perfect, so look forward to a full ten, although keep in mind less is possible.

Good luck everyone!

It shouldn't count.

Many contests ask you not to include your name anywhere on the script, is that true here?

Newbie here. Thx

Um, hello?
Is there any body in there? Just nod if you can hear me!

Is there anybody home? The answer to that is YES! I am here. I actually don't know the answer to your question, only a Mod could say, but I can make my best conjecture. I think you can request for your script to remain annonymous, because you can in the film fests, but I do not know for sure. You might get a quicker answer in the main "RULES" thread, since this one is only about page amount.

Now to get us back on topic, I thought I would use all 10 pages, but I started writing about a week ago and, although I am not finished, I only have 3 pages. Mine will probably be scraping the minimum.

I too thought I would need all 10 pages, I usually am really long winded and write too much. But my first draft rolled in at barely 3 pages.
