Best way to send captured files?

Hi, I just got done with a weekend of shooting and after logging and transfering my media to FCP, I only want to send a few of the shots (out of 100's) to the main editing house.

Is there a way to select just the clips I want to send or do I have to send all the contents of my p2 cards from the whole weekend?

Depending on size, export individual clips from FCP to a folder, and then create a data DVD and send it to your editing house. Remember, that it must have DVCProHD codecs installed by FCP to use those exports.

You could export as photo Jpeg at best quaiity. I use this for some of my clients and stock footage. Works on both the PC and Mac. So if they do not have the DVCPRO HD codec on their machine this is a work around and under size select the corresponding HD size 1280x720 for your 720 stuff and 1080x1920 for the big brother. Hope that helps.
