Maybe we can get a mod to sticky this.

Great idea. There are plenty of tutorials out there, plenty of info to find, but I can't think of one stick or even part of a thread that is just for presets. If I were you, I would put in a request to Barry S or Barry Green, and tell him about it, tell them I think it's a wonderful Idea, and as other people answer as they see this thread, tell one of the admins just how many people are interested.

Personally, I don't do much with presets (which is stupid considering the amount of repetitious work I do) , but that could certainly change.

Yeah, I just realized how helpfull they are. Cant believe i didn't use them before.

working on one that is a decent way to fake IR goggles/preditor vision, or any other heat or material based vision. It takes quite a bit of work to make it look perfect, but its really easy. Just long and gruling.

Great idea Dory - here's my favorite for easy film burns and adding an old dirty film look in.

There's a big pack of animation presets on the Adobe website (http://www.adobe.com/go/learn_ae_cs3additionalanimationpresets).

There are lots of animation presets at the pages listed here: "Online resources for animation presets" (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/aftereffects/cs/using/WS3878526689cb91655866c1103906c6dea-7ddaa.html#WS725e431141e7ba651172e081239c7cb9f0-8000)

The KeyerforDV animation preset available through the AE Enhancers website (http://aenhancers.com/viewtopic.php?t=40) automates the process of blurring the blue and green channels before keying DV footage.
