Want to get a part from McMaster? Forget about it if you don't live in the united states. No where on their website is this stated.

Thank you for your order. Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing complexity of United States export regulations, McMaster-Carr can only process orders from a few long-established customers in Canada. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this causes you. Considering the parts I ordered are completely unavailable to individual buyers in Canada this is "bullshi*".
Everywhere I have contacted in Canada either doesn't carry the part or doesn't take small orders.
Since when is exporting 3 dollar piece of aluminium to much work? If you can find anywhere on their website that says they don't export I could be interested to see it since I didn't find anything.
edit: If anyone knows somewhere else I can get these cable connectors (http://www.mcmaster.com/ctlg/DisplCtlgPage.aspx?reqtyp=catalog&CtlgPgNbr=741&sesnextrep=143900463939971&CtlgEdition=114&k1=6920K25&t1=PN&ScreenWidth=1680&McMMainWidth=1473#scroll) that would be greatly appreciated.
Further searching shows that they will refuse to sell to exporters if they believe it will end up in canada. What the hell?
