Onlocation Light meter

Anyone know a good tutorial ? I'm trying to learn how to use On location as a light meter, but it seems like alot to take in for someone who knows not much about lighting.

What you want to search for is how to read a waveform monitor. There should be plenty of good tutorials on waveform usage on the net.
