Best RAID solution for EX-1?

Could anyone please advise me if this looks good for my EX-1 footage archiving? I've never shopped for a RAID before. I have a Mac Pro 8 core.

Are you looking for a drive to do edits with or a drive to back up stuff on?

I think you could spend less money on a back up drive.

A trusty drive to use for your editing system will b more $.

Back up at first and then edits. I'll be doing a lot of nature shooting with an eye toward editing towards the end of the year.
