Hi folks,
I Would appreciate a lot if anyone could share a way of recording a time lapse still with the HVR-A1?
Thanks so much

So basically what I need to record is a flower opening, a couple of days of footage in few seconds

The time-lapse feature on the A1 is limited. First go into CAMERA-MEMORY mode, then go into the Menu, scroll down to PICT. APPLI. and press OK. Choose the INT. REC-STL and set it to ON. Click SET to choose your interval however the A1 only has 1 minute, 5 minutes or 10 minutes.
Another option, if it's possible, is to connect your A1 to a Mac (if you have one) and download a program called BTV Pro Carbon and use that to do the time lapse.
Considering you'll need a couple days worth of footage, I'd guess the in-built time lapse function would be suitable.
Edit: didn't see the date of the original post, but may still be helpful to someone else.
