The special effects rocked! Compared to the digital re-makes I mean.

I think we did with Bucketman (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=59897). Though I think Bucketman was a lot better.

Barry, I thought we weren't screening scenes from our feature yet.

I think everything I've ever shot looks roughly that good. What more do you want from me, Barry?:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Those space cruisers look oddly phallic. :Drogar-Kriz(DBG):

I've been working on him, too, Barry.

....

This flick was awesome. Reminded me of the great "Toaster Wars."

I especially loved the parts falling off the X-wing fighters. Too funny!

and now I'm going to regret posting this....BUT...

http://www.stratatekstudios.com/movies/2vs1.mov

I made that about 4 years ago when I was a sophomore in college, didn't know anything about cameras other than point and shoot...so yeah

If you're curious the choreography took 3 weeks to do, every day for 3 hours. The lightsabers took me 7 months to do in after effects, had to do each one frame by frame...after that I hated rotoscoping.

And yes I am in the film, I have the blue sabers :)

Better than I did in college. You ever notice that college videos contain rock music? And yeah, SweededFest, I really see that happening at some point.

Yea John! This was a regular pre show short in the local "stoner theaters" where I grew up on Long Island in the seventies.

"How come we never get entries like this?"

Can it be that we spend so much money on cams that imitate the look on film, that we never thought that we could imitiate the Ed Wood look of film. ;)
