Has anyone else seen this phrase? "omnium finis imminent"

(rough translation: “All End Imminent”)

They’re posted in NY subways now also...
http://www.deadprogrammer.com/

And now Sci-Fi channel shows 3 seconds (or less) "flashes" of it.

If it's a marketing campaign, it's brilliant (and spooky). I became so obsessed with it today I watched Sci-Fi just to pick up the spelling (it's very quick, says nothing and then regular programming kicks back in).

Does anyone have any idea what this is? (I thought it was a mistake and now other people are discussing it).

From another board...

"The phrase "Omnium Finis Imminet" is more familiar in its English translation as "The End is Nigh". It is taken from Anglican 'Book of Common Prayer' in Latin and refers to 1 Peter 4: 7 - "But the end of all things is at hand". Perhaps the poster you saw is for yet another forthcoming disaster movie...."

Yeah, the conspiracy theory people are running wild with it as well as the movie people.

"The End is Nigh" is 'kinda' in one of my favorite movies "28 Days Later". The church scene where it shows a spray-painted "The End is Extremely F******G Nigh" on the stairway.

Again, if it's marketing it's brilliant.
