I shot some more footage with my EX1 and Brevis 35mm adapter.

The first montage was shot with a Nikon 50mm lens all the way open and the camera at F5.6 or higher.

The second montage was shot using a Nikon 85mm lens all the way open with the camera at F5.6 or higher.

The EX1 is zoomed in at Z75.

I tweaked the camera settings a bit. I used a film gamma, raised the chroma and dropped the blacks a bit.

It's a big file, but I wanted to show you just how much detail the EX1/Brevis combo gives you. The extra resolution goes a long way. The very sharp EX1 LCD was also very helpful. I used it to focus every shot (no external monitor).

Nice shots, very beautiful. Good choice of music too. On a technical note--very sharp and clean but quite filmic---remarkably CA-free too.

Thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks.

I keep trying to get better and better stuff. I am getting quite comfortable with the system. I want to start shooting indoor footage and stuff with people.

I made the music with Soundtrack Pro. It has some really good music cuts.

Beautiful imagery as usual, addict. I love the image you get with the Brevis. The color is great, as well.

I love the shots of the statues in the cemetary. There is so much detail on their faces. I'd really like to see some dramatic grading on those shots to go with the music.

I did pretty traditional grading in post. I just made the levels broadcast legal. In the future I plan on playing with a program like magic bullet. I will experiment with high contrast, film grain and tinting to get an extreme film look.

Nice work. Looks great.
It sure looks like you've got a great grasp on this combination.
