FCP WORKFLOW PROBLEMS, codec problems?

iv managed to import the EX1 clips but all clips imported needs rendering if you ad some color correction or just a simple transition! Is it like that, or have i done something wrong?


That is not the case in DVCPro HD or HDV!

worked in 720p25 PAL on a brand new Macbook Pro 512mb GC 2gb ram
only difference is that a use LEOPARD as OS in the first case!

I cant work like this! dosent the codec work better or whats the problem!?

pretty sure you HAVE TO be running 6.0.2
I tried uploading my HQ 1080P EX1 footage into my FCS 6.0 and I was getting this same issue that you were having..

yes, you have to have 6.0.2

plug into the internet and hit the software update.
