Wednesday - 3.12.08 - "Outline done, new toy."

The outline was finished this morning, so the real writing will probably start tonight. Might be
done with it by next week, but hey, theres no rush.

Also, I got my LEX rod support bracket. I've been using a small cushion between the my indirails
and the adapter, and it looked pretty trashy, also the focus ring became a bit sticky due to the
last bit of stress it wasn't taking care of. Probably a the reason I haven't shot much with the LEX
yet. Now with that itsy-bitsy piece, everything feels nice and safe and sturdy. :)

As of now I can say that the story takes place from 2008 to 2014, and is getting more and more
romance heavy. Can't wait to do the first draft, start storyboarding, it's going to be a big test on
my cinematography skills.

Probably won't be posting until I finish the script and get the storyboards done, so until then....

Tuesday - 3.11.08 - "Best of the Bunch"

So today I came up with a nice little drama with a romance on the side, and I have to say:
Out of the several ideas I was expecting to expand on, this was the most intriguing.

I actually forgot all about it as the day went on and was pretty upset when I couldn't remember
what it was that I had thought of. Tonight though, it came back to me and now I'm writing the
outline. When all the fine tuning is done in the outline I'll be preparing the screenplay.

Also, I called my buddy Jonathan Bonilla when I remembered the idea, I pitched it to him and
asked if he'd compose an original score for the film. So now he's on board and already working
as I type.

I really didn't expect my Timefest entry to blow up to something this big, lets just hope I don't
screw over a good idea when it comes time to film.
