laptop for EX1

I have a Powerbook G4 but it looks like I might have to upgrade my laptop for the EX1. Okay here it comes everyone - drum roll ########### what Apple laptop do you think would work the best with the EX1 and the software I'm guessing will have to be FCS :kiss:

FCS (Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 - the very latest version is the only one that will work)

And if you want to load the express cards directly, you'll need some sort of MacBook Pro. Any of them should be fine, but you might want to max out the hard drive to store the most footage.

and if I go with the HVX200 would I be okay just using my Powerbook G4 10.3.9 and just upgrading my FCP to FCS and adding a 500gb Lacie to it?

I have FCP 3 Academic so I'm guessing that I could go with FCS Academic?
