I can't get a sample clip to work in Final Cut Studio 6 with all updates. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.
In general, what's the workflow to edit this stuff in Final Cut?

Extremely easy. Off the top of my head without turning on my mac, just install the sony mac software and in FCP go file-import-and you will see sony ex. This opens a browser and then import the footage in. Easier than P2. make sure before that you have setup yuur projet correctly so the footage comes in on the right timeline parameters.

do you have any idea what I'm supoosed to do with the XML file that is loaded with the clip into FCP 6 when imported? Appreciate yr input.

iv managed to import but all clips imported needs rendering if you ad some color correction or just a simple transition! Is it like that, or have i done something wrong?
That is not the case in DVCPro HD or HDV!
worked in 720p25 PAL on a brand new Macbook Pro 512mb GC 2gb ram
only difference is that a use LEOPARD as OS in the first case!
Please help!
