i'm planning on shooting with a bolex tomorrow and doing a few slow motion shots, but i can't seem to come across a straight answer just by searching alone. i'll be shooting a few things at 48fps. to compensate for the light loss at 48fps, how many stops do i have to open the camera? is it only a 1 f-stop difference from 24fps? any help would be greatly appreciated. it would be horrible shooting with uncertainty. thanks

hah, all right, thanks. it's just that i shot slow motion i think two weeks ago and my film came back black? i think the variable shutter was closed or something really stupid, though it's impossible to say. it's just a pain having to deal with equipment so intractable at a student level, when i'm only working with people who've had the same amount of experience as me.

One stop as said before, but your light meter should be able to be set at any framerate, in which case you would set it at 48fps.
