Is anyone else having problems installing the duel adapter drivers 1.06 on Mac OS X 10.5.2?

I get an error every time I run the installer, at the very end I get this:

Install Failed
The Following Install step failed: Run Preflight script for Duel Adapter. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

and I tried on two different MacBook Pro's, same result.

Any solutions would be great!

Thanks.

The p2 driver from Panasonic works just fine for me.

with mac osx leopard you don't have to install any driver.

Does anybody's duel adapter get picked up without having to restart the machine?

I was testing it out on a brand new mbp, sort of an annoyance.

with mac osx leopard you don't have to install any driver.

You do have to install Panasonic's p2 driver.

What if you manually overwrote the extension (driver) for Leopard for the Duel Adapter, is it possible to find the Leopard original extension?

i'm on the phone with duel right now, and they are going to replace my adapter. if you look in your system profiler(about this mac>"more info..") under pci cards and its not showing up(using 10.5) then there is something wrong with the adapter.

Same problem here, P2 Driver install fails.

My new Dual Adapter is listed in System Profiler (PCI Cards) as is the P2 card (as an Unknown Mass Storage Controller) but the card is not recognized as a device. The "No Name" drive does not appear in Finder.

I called Panasonic Tech Support, and they had no answers.
They suggested I call Apple/Final Cut... yes, he really did.

I was able to install Panasonic P2 Contents Management Software, and it seems to work fine, from what I can see. But here's the question. If I can playback P2 clips from the system drive, wouldn't that require the P2 driver to installed and working?

Any thoughts?
