Sounds really weird, I know. How would you matte out the extra space on the LCD?
What area would you tape off to do so or what percentage? So that when you went to the editing bay and dropped the 1080p into a 720p project it would be the same frame you got by pre-cropping on the LCD?
Yeah, WEIRD, I don't have my camera right now (rental) so I can't figure it out on my own.
