the real question is, how many of those will actually be related to the film?

Our thread is like a sometimes annoying frat house that sits behind your nice upscale home. Occasionally you'll be irritated by the crumpled beer cans in your back yard and more than once when you're trying to sleep you may put a call into the local cops to enforce some semblance of civil behavior. However, you also can't help remembering that night when your wife was out of town and you came over, got hammered and had that hot little Freshman chick thinking you were a big shot movie director.
Just now and then, you gotta remember that life is short and really not worth stressing over as much as you do, ya know. When we throw a kegger, y'all are ALWAYS welcome. We also seriously encourage ANY DVXUSERs who make it to Los Angeles to rack on our couch or floor and help yourself to whatever's in the fridge. It may be a bit of a long drive from Vilnius, Tomas, but we hope you make it some day. We'll keep the light on for ya.

Is there a time limit? Or can I stay for months on end and not give anything back? I may actually take you guys up on that offer in a couple of years, thinking about heading down there for a few weeks and seeing what I can do.

The monster shack has long been a second home to DVXUSERs who make their way to the west coast and our collection of close friends has grown accordingly. Nick, I do hope you find the time and a cheap ticket down the road as you will definitely be welcome. As I've said before; conditions are spartan and sleep is usually in short supply. However, nobody has expired yet, nobody has gone to jail and very few relationships and marriages have dissolved as a result of slumming with the monsters. Thus, four out of five psychologists at a major midwestern university have endorsed Fat Monster as a therapeutic destination for young neurotic filmmakers hoping to shake off their small-town demons.
