Where is Virulent!!!!
Where is Virulent!!!!
Ah! Don't shoot! Haha, Virulent is currently sitting in some guys office waiting to be shown at the local Youth Film Showcase... I can't show you guys anything until its been shown, which is about a month, I'm pretty sure that if I did, I'd be breaking some sort of rule. Since I just finished that and I'm starting my first 20+ minute project in a couple months, I decided to use this break and be productive-- by joining the Time Fest! Woohoo :D
If you can deliver on that poster this will definitely be one to look out for. Good luck.

I would say that my After effects knowledge exceeds my Photoshop knowledge. However, when the picture is moving that always provides some difficulties :cheesy: I haven't exactly talked to my team about this idea yet, but I've been thinking about it for a while and I'm pretty set on doing it one way or another.

I can relate, I pulled the whole "hey guys I have this nifty idea that I'm already committed to and BTW we need to have a sh*tload of special effects where a guy walks through a crowd in realtime and have the crowd be at hyperspeed".
My VFX Artist literally quoted a SABI film when he sent me an email back that said "I F*CKING HATE YOU"
So the result is make sure your team is willing to do a project before you commit to it ;) even if they're going to send ninjas to your house while you sleep.

Hahaha... nice. Well, I'm my own VFX guy, so they shouldn't be too pissed. Basically I choose my concepts based around the VFX these days, because I want to test my abilities and improve upon them. Though, I'm not sure if all of them wanted to do something in the Fantasy realm for this one.
P.S.- Check out the new banner

Great poster/banner! Caught my attention! Good Luck!
Great poster/banner! Caught my attention! Good Luck!
Thanks! Talked it over with my crew today, seems to be pretty well liked! However, after some discussion the plot has been tweaked slightly to involve a more central conflict that could be worked better into a 6 minute time frame.

Love the title and a pretty cool poster. Love the banner!
Good luck to you!
btw, link your thread to that banner. Easy to do and makes it great for people to jump to your thread when they see a cool banner like that! :)

The plots changed a wee bit from the original, so its probably actually going to take place less in a city and more in some sort of open expanse with the hint of a city in the distance. But same idea anyway. Should still be good.

Oi vey... just to keep everyone up to date, Sol isn't dead, however, production has been postponed indefinitely until I can find some more cash to fund this thing. Its not like I have a huge budget for this thing, but I just so happen to be low on cash at the moment. When production does pick up, I'll make sure to keep everyone updated. Thanks for all your support!
