First Rule of DJ... tell your friends about it, but never point it out in your final product. Seriously.
:-)
No... seriously. You devalue your work. I've encouraged all my video buddies to check it out... but when it hits the screen, don't give your "shortcuts" away. I recognized it instantly and scrolled down to the surprise of my screen name. It's possible that I may implement some visual effects from that source... the difference between "wow" and "cheesy" is motion matching and the audience not knowing the source.
I'd humbly suggest editing your post if you plan to further use that... while I like the "open-source" attitude and display that mind-set all the time... you'll notice the guys killing it in the fest are playing their cards closer.

Thanks Matt. Edited out. Sometimes I downplay too much.

Hey I only mentioned it because if you go back to that source you'll see some things that could be pulled off as fantastic special effects... that would be REALLY easy to do... and people will wonder how you did it. Seriously... you'll see it when I use it.
Did you see The Illusionist? Teach your fellow magicians, but never show them the gimmick before the show ;-)

Yea there's a little bit of tech to it. Hope I actually get it completed and it comes off close to what I want.

Very cool poster... don't fall into the perfection thing like me... I just tell myself Rome wasn't built in a day. Yeah, I'm rambling... :)

Thanks Ted. Just saw this late last night.
As for the project... my visions are as usual much larger and deeper than my wallet. We shall see.
