Trying to import clips I have on 2 P2 cards. In the Log and Tranfer window on Final Cut Pro 6. They are coming out split in half. The circles on the left side are half full. and some say spanned. Looks like the camera (HVX200) recorded on to both cards. Is there a way to bring them in as one again? or have them connect? Or am I screwed? :)

Thanks for any help

Personally when I import shots from the same day with P2CMS I put them all on one virtual P2 card, that combines them automatically. Maybe someone else can point you in the right direction to do this from within FCP.

They should just be spanned... Personally I like having them split as they are easier to back up... It does depend on how you imported it into FCP as to whether it connects and spans them or not. There's ways to connect it again if you have the cards on P2store or import it all at the same time... or I mean transfer or whatever it's called now ... You aren't screwed if both pop in.. either way they should just instantly jump from one clip to another in the timeline

Just 2 of the clips are "spanned". I noticed these 2 are fine, when I have both cards in, the import at the correct length. When I have one card, they are split 3 seconds and 12 seconds for example.

Now, on the Log and Tranfer window...why would the clips that don't have "spanned" on them have a "half circle" on the left margin. I compared them to the camera and the computer and they import fine, but they do have the half full circle. Is this an indicator of something else?
