Convert MXF to what format for Final Cut Pro ?

Hello,
I introduce my P2 Card in my Power Book G4 and copy the content of P2 Card on the Hard Disk of my G4, MXF files appear.

Before putting MXF files in the browser of FCP, I must convert MSF to what format which be able to be edited with FCP ?

In FCP 5.0.4 to 5.1.2, you use the Menu command Import Panasonic P2

In 6.0.x, you log and transfer.

powerbook G4 will be really slow though. I used one and it would convert the HD, but it wouldn't play it back cleanly.. stuttering and such, unless I minimized the screen window down really small...

Have you tried Raylight for Mac? I should have listened the folks here sooner and got that. Picked it up a week or so ago, well after several shoots, and I wish I had purchased it sooner.
