Hello,
I just got a Panasonic LH900A monitor that I am going to start using with my HVX and wanted to get some advice from my fellow DVXUSers.

For anyone using this same set up, do you have a preference for RGB/Component or SDI input on the monitor. The single SDI cable seems less cumbersome than the Component, but it would be converted from the analogue RCA Video Out though.

The Component cable that comes with HVX is not very long and I would like some options. Any recommendations? Three separate BNCs to add extension or does anyone know where I might get a longer HVX-compatible Component cable from?

Lastly, mounting brackets. I am thinking of just getting a Hama ball-mount bracket to screw into the handle of the HVX. Sound like a decent plan?

Thanks so much
CHRISTIAN B

The only way to get a high-def signal out of the HVX is component. Why would you want to monitor a composite signal?

Hi Guys
do you know or anyone knows if the BT-LH1700W could show the wave form from RGB inputs YPbPr?, or is it just composite? or SDI only?
many thanks
