Dexter by far.
Never heard of Dexter. We'll probably get in 5 years. There's this new show on Oz tv called, The Cosby Show. Anyone seen it?
I'm watching Arrested Development yet again. Californication is great. I used to watch Friends a bit. And an episode (or 6) of Scrubs is never far from my DVD player - I've seen all those eps so many times. Can I add UFCs in there? They've been taking up a lot of my viewing too (Dan Henderson V Anderson Silva next ppv is gonna be awesome).
I think Lost was rubbish. I mean I watched it for a bit but everytime they promoted the show on tv they'd say "the monster is coming" or something and nothing ever happened. btw Is the monster the marsmellow man from Ghostbusters? That would explain why he's taking so long to get there.

One show I do like for some reason is the Big Bang Theory. Pretty funny sitcom.
Do you guys know Dexter is moving to CBS? I've heard it is really good.

Really, this is probably the best show I've ever seen. I really recommend anyone who hasn't yet to at least watch an episode. It's not on any stations available to me, so I've been torrenting it and watching it on sites like the one above.

The other night, I just watched a marathon of the new AMC show called BREAKING BAD. Episodes 1-3....it was friggin GREAT! If you get a chance you have to check out this show. The lead is Bryan Cranston...the dad from Malcolm in the Middle. Hes sooo good.
He plays a High School chemistry teacher who uses his science skills for some "extra-curricular" activities...without giving too much away...

Yeah, I've been watching Breaking Bad too, great show.
Dexter is awesome and all but besides Michael C Hall, some of the acting on it, is terrible, his sister's character seems way over the top all the time. I noticed that CBS is going to start airing it in the States but heavely edited down, the Canadian station CTV showed the Pilot last night in it's original form.
Californication is another show that surprised me, thought that was awesome.
I cannot wait until The Pacific airs, hopefully it's as good as Band of Brothers.

Oh, for the Breaking Bad fans. If you have Time Warner, you can watch the first episodes of Bad in HD on HDShowcase. In the Carolinas, that's somewhere in the 850s channel-wise.
Enjoy!

I forsaked (is that a word?) television a long time ago.
HBO has some nice stuff; their miniseries and shows like Deadwood, but regular tv sucks ballz.

MSNBC (which was just recently added to my digital cable package) has been showing all of the To Catch a Predator episodes which I haven't seen before. Man that show is scary stuff. I can't imagine what it would be like to be a parent watching that stuff. What's fucked up about it, is that most of these guys have a good idea going in that they are being setup, yet they still go in cos they can't help themselves, thats scary shit. At least you guys in the States do have somewhat strict laws, our laws on age of consent and so on here in Canada is ridiculous.
Just started watching Rome as well. Great show.

Hardly worth me posting my top 2 are these 2 - Although I'm currently steaming through the first 2 series of The Wire so it's my favourite this second. When Battlestar starts again - I'll be all in love with that,
I'll have to check out some of these other shows you mention.
Also - My favourite comedy tv shows are 'Flight of the Conchords', 'The Mighty Boosh', 'South Park' and 'The Office (The american one)'

I heard Judd Apatow on NPR a few weeks ago. Both Undeclared and Freaks & Geeks should have lasted more than a season. They were far from perfect; however, characters, casting, and story ideas were well thought-out and some of the jokes were really funny and original. I think one or the other could really have developed into something great.

I dream of being on that show, not that I'd win the million, but right when they vote me off, I'd walk away about 10 feet, drop my pants to moon everyone, and say, "THANKS FOR VOTING ME OFF JERKS!!!" Years later, no one would remember my name, but they'd all remember my exit. :D

True Blood (well, up until last season, anyway).
It has gotten kind of ridiculous in these last few episodes, but I'm weirdly enjoying its daffiness. My one big issue with this show is that I never liked that actor playing Vampire Bill. I just don't think he has the charisma to pull off the role and he's overshadowed by what is otherwise a great cast.

Sorry, but American TV sucks so badly in comparison...Our system is setup to ensure that almost nothing innovative, inventive or avant garde ever makes it onto American television (basic cable or the networks), other than programs from other countries. A lot of glossy, over-budgeted, over conceptualized programming over here although some pay or artier fare like Breaking Bad, Dexter and few others give me an ounce of hope.
As an aspiring TV producer, it is probably a bad attitude to have but every time I deal with the studios and networks, these beliefs are reinforced by my conversations with them. American networks just don't get it as far as what a powerful medium it is, to them, it is strictly a ratings whore business.

If you have Netflix, order it. You have a perverse sense of humor and an imagination, you will possibly dig it. It's not very pornographic although it is scatalogical at times. It is also on Cartoon Network on Sunday mornings at 1:00 AM. Guess it doesn't pull big ratings in that time slot ;-)
Great stuff, those guys are so creative. It is kind of like live London avant garde performance art combined with a comedy adventure show core. You just have to see it.

How about Intelligence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligence_%28TV_series%29)? Yet another fine show cut down in its prime.
I stopped watching House when the formula started to feel like a neck brace. Also, I think the show contributes to hypochondria.
