I think it's very cool and titled rightfully so. The depth of the image is fantastic. For some reason, the intensity of the color distracts me a bit on the first meteor. Maybe it doesn't look isolated from the other one enough?

Nice! Though if you look down towards the lower third, it looks like there is a different layer showing up, or being cut off, the lower third is a little more milky than the rest of the image.

One crit though, if it was truly the day the Earth stopped turning, wouldn't the scene be more of people, animals, cars, and building flying through the air at a ridiculous speed?

The earth spins pretty quick, and if that sucker ever slams to a halt, we are all going to be flying debris and then piles of goo. A kind of human jelly. Yummy.
