Herman Witkam is an amazing composer who feels the film's vibe and lays down a score that compliments the scene to perfection. He knows exactly how to carve out your feelings, with music. It is amazing. And Herman Witkam is brilliant!

(and he's fast! Did my score in less than 48 hours! Maybe even 24! That was a blurry time for me!)

So,

Who did the music for you film? :)

Michael Anthony Horrigan

Couldn't agree more!

He's the man.

Cheers,

We had a relative unknown do ours. Some guy named Justin Durbin (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/member.php?u=12891)...:cheesy:

I believe that Herman did the score for Threading the Needle, though.

I didn't get my film done on time for the contest, but just wanted to add (having worked with Herman twice in the past), he is awesome.

I've heard a lot of stuff from Herman, and it sounds great!

We had the extremely talented (and very busy these days)
Justin R. Durban (aka Edgen) do the music for "The Arrangement".
Justin's music really sets the tone for the movie at just the right places and adds an additional layer of emotion to the moving images.

Cheers to all of the composers!

never had the pleasure to work with Herman. But I did find a really talented composer named Michael Dobbins, and I tell ya, he was FAST and efficient and really good. I think he's joined the board, so keep an eye out for him.

I was wondering how many films you scored, Herman. (hence the poll, LOL!)

Justin, great work on your part of the festival. The score for WTHL is awesome!

Herman, thank you again! You really, REALLY helped me out. I'll be at your door again! And hopefully early enough to get you for sound design!

There's so many talented people on this board. Sounds like everybody is more than pleased with your work, Herman.

I had 'musicalrob' Robert Sudall do my score (not yet filmed unfortunately) and it's superb too. I didn't have any footage for him, just the script and some hints. His score was spot on.

Thanks composers.
