Just curious as to how people shoot their movies.

<300, but most of it was letting the tape roll and letting the 5 year old star do what kids do until finding the right emotion.

we shot 3 hours and 45 minutes worth of footage. <240.

about 140 minutes of footage, then anouther 10 minutes on pick up shots, and we captured all ADR and Foley to tape, so that took up another 45 minutes.

I used about 130 minutes of footages. It's definitely not fun when you have to review and select them.

I shot just over 2 hours of footage. Since I don't have an HVX, I don't get too worried about leaving the camera rolling. Thankfully, I did that a lot! I ended up using at least two shots that were between takes! I just didn't have a cut here and there and I FOUND IT BETWEEN takes!!! What a score.

way too much footage. our movie is bursting at the seams at 6mins. working on a longer cut so some of the scenes can breathe a bit.
