Any reason to shoot 30 P /PN for a doc intended for broadcast? Instead of 24 P / PN? The manual suggests 30P.

the only reason you would go for 24 is less space and easy to convert to 25 (if docu is getting overseasto pal). 30p is almost no possibitlity to go to 25p.
with 30p you can create small slomo in 24p timeline

The only reason you'd go for 24p is if you want 24p.
And if you want 24p, you should go for 24p.
30p isn't the same.
There are no worries about shooting 24p, editing 24p, and then outputting as 29.97 for broadcast. If 24p is what you want, then go with 24p and don't look back.
