Hi there!

I wonder if I have to do a "special" setup to make my Fujinon XA 17x7,8 work with CAC or does it just do its job???

thx in advance!

I found that sometimes my CAC funtion didnt work, go to Lens set-up. Then click on CAC set-up and make sure the fujinon xa17x7.8 is highlighted and activated.

Does anyone know if there is a CAC setup file for the Canon KJ16ex7.7B KRSDPS12 lens ?

Here are all of the available CAC files and their download links for the HPX series:

https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/support/cs/csregistp2m/ep2main/cac_note_e.htm (https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/support/cs/csregistp2m/ep2main/cac_note_e.htm)

And yes the lens you asked about is pre-installed on the Hpx500

Thank you for the informative link.
It looks like the Canon KJ16ex7.7B KRSDPS12 CAC file is the same as the KJ16ex7.7B IRSD PS12

When I go to the Lens Setup and select the KJ16ex7.7B IRSD PS12 file it doesn't seem to activate.

Can anyone verify if after choosing a CAC file that it shows up next to the CAC PROPERTY in the Lens Setup Menu or does it just say "- - - -"

The reason being is that I'm still seeing some CA on close-ups. See at 0:00:15 and 0:00:57 in this video here (http://vimeo.com/463187) during the CU's of the product - kind of a magenta/green fringe

it looks to me like the fringe is apparant only on top and bottom edges - that is consistent with performance of CAC - CA is worst on vertical edges and CAC corrects that
