Buying my first camera?

Hi everyone, i'm lost. I'm looking to spend no more than AU $3000 and i'm not sure what camera would be best. For starters i'm just looking for a camera i can make shorts and maybe some music clips and record some concert footage. So a camera that's going to last and "not go out of date" as such. A camera i can grow on.

So please lend me some advice.
