...well, for me at least. I had a GREAT meeting yesterday with the writer of my next short, and today I received my follow focus and new rails in the mail. I was getting goosebumps while gearing my lenses and setting up my expanded rig for the first time.
This website has really helped me to re-invigorate my film making career after a long, long hiatus (it's tough to bounce back from a feature that doesn't sell). Just wanted to say :dankk2: to everybody on here, and especially to Jarred Land for founding this great resource. I was just recently telling a former professor of mine that I was thinking about returning to school for a film MFA program just so that I could find a group of like-minded peers - but here you are! Cheers to you all!
PS - If you have a Redrock M2 with Nikon mount and an indiFOCUSpro, do not get a Nikon Series E 50mm lens. I was very dismayed to find that the lens barrel is too short to use with my follow focus.
