Has anyone on the Mac platform taken the Dive to Quicktime 7.4? Any problems?

I've haven't jumped as yet but over at the Apple ProApps discussions, several have and no issues.
But if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I put on my crash helmet yesterday and went to 7.4 with some trepidation. I've got a quad intel mac pro running 10.4.11 and a hour doc project with 1.4 TB of shoot files, that is still in process. No problems.
I generally not as stupid as this post would make me out to be- upgrading some key app in mid stream - but every thing is ok as of this writing.

It appears to have screwed my FCP QT's. It seems that Apple have decided to change the value of Null in QT from '0' to '-1' which has the effect of kiiling large numbers of QT files. Can't even play them in the Finder! :(

If your QT's were made on a PPC mac, you are vulnerable to this CLUT issue. Imagine products makes a utility for $29.00 that should et you straight. I've had no issues with QT's made on my Mac Pro after the upgrade.

I've taken the plung, yet I am to do any serious editing; I am having issues shooting P2 to my fs-100 and I dont want to shoot footage just QT. Is it safe to assume that PPC's are ok and that the Intel systems are having issues?
