x264 Encode to match DV PAL footage?

I want to encode some footage from a DV PAL MiniDV camcorder.

I want use the x264 [a H264 encoder].

What settings [bitrate or quantization of whatever] I have to use to match the quality of the DV PAL original?

Anyone tried this?
