headphone jack part

the external screw thingee around the headphone jack that holds the jack from falling into the camera fell off my camera. Anyone know what part this is so I can order one?

If its the part I am thinking of, you should be able to pick one up at radio shack or some electrical hobby store.

smelni: It's a knurled retaining nut, but you probably won't be able to buy one separately unless you find an old electronic specialty store with a spare parts box in the back (should be easy in NY though)..

If not, find a micro-switch at any hardware store that uses the same nut, toss the switch, and use the nut.. might cost a couple of bucks, but your problem will be solved...

A bit of loctite "blue" thread locker applied to the threads will address a re-occurence.
