I have have a scene i shot on the HVX200. It takes place in a park. There are houses in the distance behind the actors. I want to take out the houses and replace them with more trees.

How do I do this? What software?

If the shot is locked off, no camera movement, you could create a background plate using Photoshop's Clone and Healing tools to get rid of what you don't want in the scene. If the camera is panning or is moving in any other way, you will have to build multiple background plates which can overlap and motion track the source, and then apply the motion track data to you background(s).

Also, if you have actors moving about in front of the houses, you will need to mask them and do a little rotoscoping. You could do both the motion tracking and rotoscoping in After Effects.

Post a couple of screenshots. There are folks here who may want to take a crack at it.
