and no 300fps is not a type-o this can shoot 300fps for up to ten seconds

This camera has been posted before. It shoots 300 fps at a resolution of about 320 x 240, making it completely useless for film work.

but isn't that only with the internal flash drive. once you buy one of those sticks i think you can record with a much less sever compression and full res 300fps shots

It's not a memory issue. Barry Green explains it very well so I'll just quote him:
"Those high-frame-rate features take advantage of the CMOS sensor design by using "pixel binning"; it lets you treat a block of pixels as if they were a single pixel. The bigger you make the "bin" the faster you can read the chip, but the lower the resolution you're getting.
In short I seriously doubt you'd be getting "full 1080p" resolution at 300fps, you'd probably be getting about 320x240 at that rate"

so can you get at least 50fps progressive at DV size??? one of us need to take a sd card into a store and test this stuff out...
