Hi everybody!

I ordered a Letus extreme with EF mount a while ago (still waiting for it to arrive). I have a bunch of M42 lenses available (fisheye, 35,55,58,135mm etc.) that i have used on my Canon SLR camera with an EOS->M42 ring...

I was wondering if there is any problem with using them with the Letus? I remember reading something about back focus issues? I dont mind if i have to zoom in on the GG for every lens separately, as long as i'll be able use them :)

Thanks,

Rasmus

Hi, you should have no real problems using the M42 mount lenses with the Eos adapter. I just wouldn't expect the focus distance marks on them to be accurate because every adapter adds a bit of variation into the equation.

Just be sure to get the lens adapters that push the F stop pin in so the aperture works properly. There are many excellent m42 mount lenses out there including Zeiss Jena and Russian lenses. Have fun.
