I first posted this in DIY, but this is probably relevent for a lot of people out there....someone also pointed me to the sony clip browser software which I'll try asap...

My EX1 just shipped (yay!) and i'm getting ready to head out for a week to shoot with it on a doc i've been working on. I haven't dropped the money for a MacBook Pro yet but I do have my windows laptop.
I don't need to view the footage, just dump the footage via the camera's USB cable at the end of the night to two bus powered drives for storage.
My problem at the moment is that I can't find any decent software that will facilitate copying the files (and directory structure) from the card to 2 folders simultaneously...most software will do it, but sequentially (2x the copy time)...and no software so far will auto-generate timestamped folders first.........
so basically I want to pop in a card and click GO! and it makes a new timestamped folder on each drive and copies the entire P2 or SxS to both USBDRIVE1 and USBDRIVE2 at the same time (not sequentially!!!)
does such software exist? for windows!?!
i've heard automator on the mac might do this....
