Sgpro DVX100 and spiderbrace?

Will I be able to mount the DVX100a with an SGpro to the spiderbrace?
If not what kind of adapters or screws or things will I need?

Is there something better than the spiderbrace for around the same price range?

Also does anyone know if the SGpro requires batteries to run, and if so what kind?

The SGpro runs on two AA batteries.

You can definitely rig up the Spiderbrace to accomodate the SGpro, I've done it and many others have as well.
