35mm Adapter Dealers in NYC?

Hi All,

I'm in a bit of a crunch to get a (preferably) SGpro for purchase within the next week. Is there a dealer in NYC? Or a dealer for anything besides the MovieTube that actually has units for sale in NYC? I did a search on these forums, and google, but haven't had much luck.

B&H is selling the letus, but through orders... not in-stock.

If you need it for a gig soon, why not rent from Timur Civan. He offers a good rate for his SG Pro.

All of the affordable adapters are per order. The only adapter that you could possible have as early as day after tomorrow is the Brevis. Unless the Cinevate team is backed up with flip orders....

Thanks for the response Arrik! Our concern with rentals is that we'll be shooting on weekends for about 2 months, so buy the time we pay our rental fees we'll have come close to paying for the adapter (not the lenses of course). Looks like we'll either push back the schedule or just go with plain jane DV!

alternately, does anyone know of someone who rents a redrock and lenses for reasonable rates in the new york area?
