PAL vs. NTSC // 1080/25p vs. 1080/24p

Greetings!
Just curious about the difference between these two formats. The european HVX does not support 24p shooting. Only 1080/25p . Is there any visual difference between the two. I mean its only 1 frame per second but is it somehow crucial to achieve the so called "film look". Im aware about the meanings of lighting and sets etc but just curious does this 1fps change anything.

Nope, very little difference by 1fps.

As you say, there is a LOT more to the film look.

In fact, many films in Europe are shot at 25p to ease compatibility with video.
