In the thread about Beeps, lots of posters said they would not use the on-camera audio anyway - or only as backup/ambient.
So my question is - and it's urgent. How do you guys sync the HVX with an external recorder?

That simple. Why didn't I think of that?
Do you find that with modern clocks there is no drift in short takes without having the TC locked?

My average take is about 45 minutes to an hour (I'm usually recording classical/opera events). I generally don't see more than a frame of drift over that period...
