Viewfinder on HVX200. I've heard that it is low rez. Compared to say GL2 or A1 or even consumer camcorders, how does it perform? Better, worse, the same?

With the use of "focus assist" it works fine. I do however also use a Marshall monitor for this purpose.

Jim,
Which model do you use?
Thanks. Robert

Does it look terrible in the viewfinder like it's a consumer camera or does it just look slightly worse than the cameras in this price range. How does it compare to Canon XH-A1? Slight difference or big?

It's way better than the SD cameras, but it's about par for the lower-cost HD cameras. It has more pixels than the LCD panel so it's sharper, but smaller.

The LCD in this video looks horrible: http://reviews.cnet.com/digital-camcorders/panasonic-ag-hvx200/4505-6500_7-31520842.html?tag=prod.img.1 I assume it is much better. I've had A1 for a month and liked the LCD on it, how does HVX compare?
