What's the cheapest way to have an HD 35mm adapter setup? "Workable" means it includes the following:
Adapter
Follow focus
HD monitor
Rails/support
Doesn't necessarily need to be a flip adapter. We're going for cheap, so the camera or the monitor can be mounted upside down. Light loss isn't so important, as long as it's a clean (low grain) image.

Well seeing that all the adapters cost very similar, The Sgpro costs shipped here with rails at about 1050, The brevis slightly above that, the LEXE is 899 shipped but you will need rails, personally I think the cinevate carbon rails are the best on the market right now for the price and weight. As Follow focus units go the shoot35 I think is the best for the money, and I do think it is the cheapest. Cinvate has yet to come out with theirs, the RR micro FF is a very solid unit that i have used many times and are very good, I think one with a gear set comes around 600, the Ikan V8000HD is currently the cheapest HD field monitor out. So i would say SGpro, shoot35 FF, and the Ikan will be the best bet. Just remember that it take a while to get stuff from shoot35. I think from the sounds of thing you would like the "spinner" of the SGpro the best. just my 2 cents.

Yea, and you would have to take the lenses into account. Probably another $200-300 for a set of cheap primes.

I see that you're in Ontario... Since Cinevate is a Canadian company, you might want to take that into consideration (for shipping, taxes, support etc...).
I can also vouch for their Rails system. Very nice for the price.
