No Log and Transfer FCP 6.0.2?

Hello all...

Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue....

After upgrading to FCP 6.0.2 and QT 7.3.1 on my G5 dual 2.0, I am not able to successfully use "log and transfer".... Strange, because it worked flawlessly on this machine prior to the upgrade. Both of my 16GB P2's show up on the desktop, (I pull directly off the camera in firewire mode) but they wont load in the log and transfer window. I also copied the .mxf files to a firewire drive and attempted to transfer in that manner, but it was also unsuccessful.

Luckily, I was able to use another machine (iMac intel 2.0 running FCP 6.01) to capture off the cards, and transfer to the G5.....

Just wondering on my end is something fouled up on my end, or is anyone else experiencing similar issues with 6.02?

Do you have any third party plugins? Don't recall the name of them but there were some posts recently, and I had the issue, when upgraded FCP. I got so frustrated with Log and Transfer not working that I wiped my drive and did fresh install of everything. Well except those 3rd party plugins.

Maybe someone on the forum has better memory than I do. :)

Have u tried trashing your Final Cut Pro User Data Folder?

In reseraching t this, I found some serious issues with the latest QT, FCP and P2 imports....

People should take care prior to upgrading their software.....
