EX1 comparable in size to FX1/Z1?

Hi,

I have been hired to do a crane shoot next week, using two Sony EX1s. My crane was made for the sony Z1/FX1 and I was just wondering if the two cameras are comparable in size and weight?

Does it have a 72mm filter thread?

It's basically the same overall size, but a lot heavier.

And it uses a different Composite video connecor IIRC ... so your built in cable might not work.

How much heavier is it? What kind of composite plug does it use?

Sony proprietary ... same as the Sony HVR-A1 I think.
